Closed Captioning

Hearing impaired patients can enjoy TV and movies

eVideon is designed to be accessible to all patients in a healthcare system.

eVideon features closed captioning (cc), so hearing impaired patients can experience and enjoy television and movies. Closed captioning is a way to display text on a television or other display for hearing impaired patients. Used as transcription for audio, it may also include descriptions of the non-speech elements.

Although closed captioning is dependent on the on demand content providers, eVideon makes these available as long as they exist in the video. eVideon also meets the Veteran Administration’s requirements for closed captioning.
