Healthcare IT Today sits down with Sean O’Neal, CEO of TigerConnect, and Jeff Fallon, General Manager of eVideon, now a TigerConnect company, to discuss the recent acquisition. The interview explores how the smart room tech and unified communications integrate to deliver an intelligent care orchestration platform that leads to better outcomes and increased efficiency.
O’Neal says that the merger integrates eVideon with TigerConnect’s existing services: messaging, an in-room nurse call product, and alert/alarm management. They are working on adding AI to produce a “more automated, intelligent environment” combining data from the patient’s room with information from the EHR and real-time location system (RTLS). Goals include automating administrative tasks and delivering predictive insights to optimize staffing, patient flow, etc.
