Virtual tour of the Patient Interface
Take a few minutes and tour the patient interface. Click on the first image below to begin a photo tour. Each image includes caption text that will explain some of the the features and benefits of an eVideon solution, giving you a glimpse into how eVideon is transforming the patient experience.
Note that these pages are branded for one particular hospital. Every hospital has a different look and feel they want to convey to the public and to their patient community. eVideon gives you unparalleled flexibility, and you can be sure that the transforming experience you deliver to your patients will be your own.
The information menu contains all the informational content you wish to share with your user community. It can be easily customized and organized using a standard web browser. You don't need any special skills to be able to dynamically change the content on these pages. The content may be informational, or it may be interactive - getting the feedback and requests you want from your patients. It may contain media (e.g. a video message from the CEO), text and images. You are in the drivers' seat.
Do you want to tell your patients what the meal menu is, and instruct them how to order it? Or, do you want your patients to place their meal orders right from the TV? Either way, eVideon is the right choice to meet your needs.
Would your development team like another opportunity to present donation options to a contented patient community. This is just one way eVideon can help your bottom line.
Use eVideon to build additional revenue streams by advertising. You can place textual graphical or video ads. You are not limited to the information menu though. Increase impressions by interspersing sponsorships throughout the eVideon interface.
Each patient is able to view educational media is it is assigned through a dynamic workflow. Patient education (and other media as well!) may be assigned based on the room, the "zone" or "zones" (e.g. units or wards), or even based on the patient condition. DRG codes from HL7 ADT messages can be used to assign media dynamically, so staff no longer have to take the extra time to find and assign media. Of course eVideon also allows the easy manual assignment of media from any web interface.
Every action is tracked and reportable. A patient sees a visual indicator that they have completed the video, and staff can track this as well. eVideon can also let your EHR/EMR system know that a patient has watched a video in order to "close the circuit" on your workflow. Automatically assigned, and automatically in the patients record. Now that's efficiency!
The patient has complete control over every video they watch; Fast Forward, Rewind, Pause, Play again. If a patient's viewing is interrupted by a visitor, vitals, or a test, she may resume later right where she left off. If family members want to watch the video too, just play it again. It's available on demand.
Time passes much more pleasantly for your patients when they have numerous entertainment movies to enjoy. Not only that, but visitors will stay longer, and kids won't be running in the halls while the adults share meaningful conversations.
Selecting movies is simple and gives the patient a feeling of control in an unfamiliar place.
Because of eVideon's high awareness of your patients, you don't have to worry about your young patients watching "R" or "PG-13" movies. eVideon can automatically make age appropriate entertainment available. If the parents want to watch more mature content while their child sleeps, a staff member can easily make additional content available with a couple of mouse clicks.
Patient surveys put the Interactive in Interactive TV. Let your imagination show you the powerful potential for this tool. What information would be valuable for you to gather from your patients? You have a captive audience who is willing to give you feedback. All you have to do is ask the questions. Remediate patient dissatisfaction before it is escalates. Learn how you can better serve your patients, and so much more.
This is just one sample question on a survey. A survey may be a simple questionnaire for patients, giving your hospital patient feedback that is invaluable to the care you provide. A patient survey may be associated with patient education videos (ensuring patient understanding), or the patient survey can prompt action by targeted hospital staff (e.g. Are you cold? Guest services will respond with an additional blanket or thermostat adjustment.)
